We believe festivals should be fun and responsible. That’s why we make sustainability a priority in everything we do:

Smaller Footprint

• Reusable cups are used at every event to cut down on waste.
  
  

• Our full-time crew work from home, reducing unnecessary travel and fuel use.
  
  

• We keep our office paper-free wherever possible, choosing emails over printing.
  
  

Supporting Local and Sustainable Businesses

• We buy from UK suppliers as much as possible.
  
  

• We work with local, independent businesses to support the community.
  
  

Reducing Waste

• We encourage everyone to take their recycling home
  
  

• Our signage is reused every year, with only the dates updated.
  
  

• We encourage caterers not to bin leftover food; our crew are happy to collect it at the end of the show to prevent waste.
  
  

• Caterers are asked to minimise packaging, and use biodegradable or no packaging where possible.
  
  

• We reuse wristbands where we can, reducing unnecessary waste.
  
  

Green Energy and Low Impact

• Where we can, we use solar panels and batteries  and main electric opposed to  a generator
  
  

• All festoon lighting is fitted with energy-efficient LED bulbs.
  
  

• The public are not permitted to use generators
  
  

Protecting Natural Resources

• Free water refill stations are available across our festivals.
  
  

• Shower facilities are limited to help conserve water.
  
  

• We work closely with our toilet provider to ensure no contamination of the land.
  
  

Protecting the Land

• We carefully choose sites that minimise environmental impact.
  
  

• At Druridge Bay, we organise a beach clean to give back to the area we use.
